Doh! I'm sure he's wishing he'd have been actually looking at where he was going instead of rubbernecking. And looking that the slideshow of the photos...he did a pretty good number while he was at it.

At least he was geared up and hopefully he heals quickly (and learns his lesson!)

Dude's lucky he didn't go right through that back window - but the medic could've opened the door seconds earlier allowing the rider to just land right on the cot! lol

Kind of ironic, I guess if you're gonna slam into something an ambulance is a pretty lucky choice.

Holy crap Ceez...that dude must've been flying!!! This guy did it on the freeway and didn't bite it THAT hard (from how it looks..)

Then again, how often does the news chopper actually catch the bike hitting the 'bolance on video??? lol

LOL...I know...but I guess if you are going to rear end someone, might as well do it where help is near by!!

Where is the damage on the rear ambulance doors? Maybe the ambulance backed into the motorcycle?

At what, 40mph? Backing into a bike would tip it over, push it back, etc. It wouldn't smash the thing apart and wedge it upright under the truck. The guy probably sprawled out across the back when he hit rather than torpedo into it.

Check out the one from the article Jess posted though, that guy definitely made a crater when he tagged it.

I'm guessing the ambulance slowly backed into the cycle. The step bumper pinned the front wheel (which held the cycle upright) under the step and then slowly rolled the front tire under the rear of the ambulance as it continued to backed up. Also compare the number of pieces-parts lying around from the first wreck compared to the second.

It that a Superhawk? It's like when you run into a parked car on your bicycle.
