2nd gear problems

So I have an 00' R6, and most of them were plauged with 2nd gear problems. Mine was fine until this season, It feels like there's a tooth missing on the actual gear.

Does anyone know anything about this problem??

I've heard about the problem, but I don't have any details at all.

Give Jayson Specht a call at Twin Peaks Powersports (they're a Yamaha dealer) - 970-535-9100 - he's the parts manager there. I met him the other night, and he is really on the ball. If he doesn't know about it or what can be done to fix it, I'm sure he knows somebody that does. Tell him you're with the CSC & one of the guys from Wednesday night said you should call him. 8)
