Swapped to the '07 swingarm which is painted black instead of the bare aluminum in '06. Looks so much better. I suggest having a buddy help if you ever do it. It was kinda tricky alone. (The pic is one i copied with my Iphone off of Facebook, that's why there is writing below.) Whatcha think?

I know but thats how the Ohlins forks came. I'll probably powder coat them pieces possibly this winter. No rush however.

You would really need to anodize those front fork tubes. They are already anodized gold. Just do a clear black over it. Powder coating those parts is tricky and I have not seen any good jobs done yet. Partially because of the thin aluminum, it warps, and partially because they are already anodized.

I would only powder coat the aluminum base of the R&T forks.

Hey Dirk, I thought you were going to the track today.

Hey Dirk, I thought you were going to the track today.

Yeah, I was going to but I did something to my right wrist and I was having trouble braking the VFR on the street yesterday so I figured it wasn't a good idea to be pushing it on the track. Still haven't figured out what I did to it.

The color scheme on that is so deliciously obnoxious. Love it Drew!
