Cager intentionally crashes bike!

Summary On 06/11/09 at approximatley 1950 hours witnesses observed a 1997 Pont Sunfire, driven by Joyce Colangelo 48yoa, attempting to run down a 1974 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by Richard Roever 48yoa and his passenger Diedre Herrera 42 yoa. The vehicle and motorcycle were southbound on Academy Blvd from Airport Rd. After striking the motorcycle several times the bike went down into the curb in the 1700 S Academy Blvd. The driver Ms. Colangelo then attempted to drive over Mr. Roever and his passenger by driving ontop of the downed motorcycle. The driver then backed up and then attempted another assault before a witness blocked the vehicle preventing Ms. Colangelo from driving over the victims. The victim Roever fled the scene with serious bodlily injury. Ms. Colangelo was arrested. Alcohol and domestic violence was a factor in this incident.

....well it says dugs & domestic violence were a factor. so if he'd been beating her & she's finally getting back at him for years of abuse, then I'm less sympathetic to "the poor rider." There's a lot more to this one than a bike vs. a car and it has nothing to do with the fact that he was on a bike. She probby would've tried to run him off the road even if he were in a car.

The reason this occurred has nothing to do with domestic violence or alcohol. This has everything to do with the fact that a Harley Davidson, being ridden 1-up, cannot outrun a Pontiac Sunfire!!!:no:
