Noob dual sportin' trails?

Got a new toy last night. Should have it home by the weekend. Any recommendations as to dirt roads or fire roads where I can get the hang of dirt riding? I was thinking maybe Jamestown, or Fall River Rd, or even the back way into Deckers or Rampart Range Rd. I've never been off pavement before, not on purpose anyway ;)

go ride around pawnee to get use to it. tons of diry roads plus even more smaller single track or service roads. all are easy andwill get you in tune with your bike
