Went up I25 to Loveland to go check out a 2001 Honda XR650R at a dealer, then went up to exit 269, and went over to 14 that runs through the mountains and next to a white water rafting river. A very nice road. The weather was over cast but a good temperature for that part of the ride.
The brother in-law and I rode to Walden, CO and then down through Winter Park and back to I70. That was when things got fun. Rain, and slowly got colder as we had to cross the Continental Divide. Lets just say rain, frozen hands, and a mirrored visor made doing switch back a challenge. I think we were in the rain for about an hour and a half.
Here are some pictures...sorry none of the rain I was not in the mood to worry about pictures then. However lunch was good at the Drifters Cookhouse along 14. However just a sandwich and coke came to $15.
