Just got back from the opener. It's as good as the first one and a lot more funny. I will say that it's too long and there was sooooo many battles that with the length of the film I didn't care who won at the end, I just wanted to pry my butt out of the seat and go the hell home. Good movie though. OH MAN, Megan Fox's fine ass self is definately highlighted a lot more in this one. YUMMY! There's also an evil seductress that in my opinion blows Megan Fox out of the water with her utter uber hottness.

It was awesome!! The only I will tell you is that it was very borderline for PG-13, lots of cussing... just so you know if your bringing the little ones.

Critics always blast the blockbuster action movies, but they always forget the one thing that's important to me for a movie like this. Did you have fun watching it? Did you walk out and say: That kicked ass! Then it was worth it.

I didn't think I would like these movies when the first one came out. Not into it. A year later, I finally watched it and got WAY too into it. I even teared up over BumbleBee.

I can't wait to see the new one in the theater this this time. Hopefully I won't cry in public if there are any of "those" parts in it.

“I’m certain that someday it will be acknowledged that Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is like the most totally awesome artifact ever of the end of the American empire. It’s so us, a preposterously perfect reflection of who we are: loud, obnoxious, sexist, racist, juvenile, unthinking, visceral, and violent… and in love with ourselves for it. […] What we have right here is the Easter Island statue of our legacy.” — MaryAnn Johanson

Here's a sample of what Bay throws at the wall in the hope of generating some stray laughs: small dogs humping. Hysterical middle-aged women. Autobots with effeminate voices. A miniature Decepticon dry-humping Fox's leg. John Turturro improvising. Tasers. A cowardly Latino. A short Arab. Snails.
None of these things is funny. Not in this movie, anyway.

This was taken from what that critic said...

All of that shit was hilarious, that critic must have watched the movie with a broom stick rammed up his ass to not think it was funny:drink:

In order to become a movie critic it is a required out-patient surgery.

Went to a 5:40 showing....fast paced all the way to the desert scene then kind of dragged. I laughed a ton, great sound at the Metrolux in Loveland, and lots of nerd-CGI-p0rn :)

But i did feel a bit weird with all the little little kids people brought, I heard mothers gasping at some of the comments......honestly I wish Terminator was stuck to its "R" roots...glad transformers stepped it up a bit :)

Took something that was really cool when i was a kid and turned it into a cheap pop culture joke. At least the robots were really cool to look at...

Saw it for the second time last night. And the effeminate voiced autobots were the bikebots. So I thought it was appropriate that they should be females :)

Saw it over the weekend.

Simply put, if you like hot chicks, bad-ass robots, and blowing shit up. You'll dig this movie.

Plus there's a Duc 1198, an MV Agusta F4 and a Suzuki B-King as new autobots.

Memo to Michael: It's a toy movie. Your audience is predominantly teen and pre-teen. My kids don't need to see your salivating soft-porn fantasies or your reactionary militaristic politics.
Obviously this guy didn't watch it as a kid. Because most of the audience when I went, were in their late 20s and 30s. I dug it, but the twin Autobot guys were starting to get on my nerves.

I went to this opening day with my boys and cousins husband and their son. Umm, yeah, if you have kids around 9-11ish that you care about what they hear and see, probably not the best movie. That said my oldest (who saw the first one at a friends house and I haven't seen it yet) was like "THIS IS THE MOST AWESOME MOVIE EVER!!!!!"

He just knows that if he repeats some of the language in the movie he gets to acquire a taste for soap while "cleaning his mouth out"

Good flick though imho.

Hate to play devil's advocate but...

It was fun to watch. However the first installment was better. While it is a fun time to sit through, I'd recommend waiting 'til it came out on Netflix or OnDemand to watch.

If you could care less about any kind of story or continuity, you're gonna love it. If you don't care about one scene not meshing with the next, you're gonna love it. If you really don't give a shit about John Turturro's character not living up to the 1st installment, you're gonna love it. If you don't care that Megan Fox doesn't fit in the story line (well who really cares here lol), you're gonna love it.

Just got back from watching it. There is a lot of action in this one but not enough Megan Fox or robot girl!
