Sitting right up against the foothills, lots of people take advantage of all the trails, the rivers and all sorts of outdoorsy type activities. It's no wonder Coloradoans rank so lean.

Aurora balances out the skinny meth heads on Colfax. ;)This is true...I would venture a guess that if they just checked the people in my office alone, they wouldn't say that about Colorado. They really need to get rid of the vending machines here or replace everything with tofu, granola and carrot sticks. :)

Ya with the unemployment rate you figure there would have been alot less eating going on. JK

The real truth is probly between the people who are scared of losing there job so they made cut back to save as much money as you can and people losing there jobs. Not spending the extra money for there healthy foods and gym memberships. Because some people don't realize they are probly spending just as much on the fast food as they are the healthy food and a good chunk of people not knowing how to work out with out a gym.

Hahaha that was a great article. Very good.

Now, NORAD spends each day of the year scrutinizing every plane, hang glider and kite that has the balls to fly over North American soil. Well, except on Christmas Eve, when they turn their attention to more pressing matters like tracking Santa Claus

#6. Our Mosquitoes Will Fuck You Up.

http://blacktable.com/images/states/colorado/mosquito.jpg
In 2003, Colorado led the nation with 2,947 human cases and 63 human deaths caused by the West Nile Virus, a deadly virus that attacks the central nervous system and is spread by infected mosquitoes.

Yeah, he's pretty scarry, but when I walked outside in Henderson, LA last night, I think I ran into his rival gang, and there were about 50,000 of them, strength in numbers I guess. I wasn't even planning on giving blood,,, I could have at least got some juice and cookie out of it:(

Then I found this dude rumaging through the garbage, Jeeeesse!!!

Heh, we're not in league with the sheer volume of swamp mosquitos you guys get.

Northern Minnesota might give you guys a run for the "Swarm Crown", though. Don't know what it is about those pine woods...

Alligator? Mmmm, Shrimp and Alligator Sausage Cheesecake at Jaques Imo's (http://www.jacquesimoscafe.com/menu.htm) in NOLA. (Don't knock it until you've tried it. It ain't sweet.) Followed with Carpet-Bagger Steak, steak stuffed with Bleu Cheese, Onion, Oysters, and Hollandaise.

Hmm, how much is a flight to New Orleans this weekend? I could put on 20 pounds in that city.

I believe it. When I go back to Indiana the difference in body types is striking. Lots of fatties and general unhealthiness in the midwest. Never been down south though (nor do I have any desire to), but it sounds scary fatness. Technically I'm overweight at 185ish, but even when I was 175, the skinniest I'd want to be, I was still technically overweight even though I had little fat. I think the whole overweight/obese classification thing needs to be reworked for real people, not 3rd world refugees who have 0 muscle on their bodies.
