Actually, I moved up to a functioning seat latch on the new subframe. Horray!

what do you need a back seat for anyways? a track bike only needs one seat

I agree. I swap a track tail section on anyway with no undertail. Makes for a very convenient helmet holder :)

other people cant see your max bid.... they just bid a higher max bid at the last min.

Oh, well then I guess it just shows the current user what their max bid is under the bid button by saying "Enter a bid greater than (max bid here)". Still retarded. Woulda been like $60 for a good condition OEM lower fairing, shipped. : /

The "Enter Max Bix Greater Than..." is just higher than the current high bid, which is only high enough to put whoever had the highest max into the lead; their max could still be higher. Like Phloater said, nobody can see the current max bid in play, you just got outbid by someone else with a higher max (which would have put them just high enough above yours to be in the lead, even if their max had not been reached). Make sense?

Don't question Ralph on his eb-ayness, he'll fix it so that you don't win any auction, ever!

I hate getting sniped or seeing the item I bid on suddenly jump up $100+ because some tool didn't think I was paying enough. The system is set up to benefit the last-minute bidder.

If there is not a "buy it now"

then sniping is the only way to go!

Any timed auction is set up to benefit a last minute bidder, that's how they work. Not the system's fault, you just need to be more clever. :)

But I agree, I've been sniped on a couple things lately. Fortunately I was able to find the same thing again for what I wanted to pay, so it all worked out.

Man - that 'Problem Solved' cartoon is hilarious.

Think I have looked at it five times already and laughed out loud in my cube!
