Did anyone watch this one tonight? those guys that do that side car racing are pretty intense.. Not so much the driver as it was the passenger.. I would fall off like a ton tryin to do that one.. I mean ive had a few times on some things like on a jet ski where you cant hang on and drop but man i wasn't doing 120mph on the asphalt..

Looks fun though none the less!

any thoughts?

That and if you saw the police-car chase episode they filmed a lot of the stuff after the fact and that was just retarded.

Anywho, I DID enjoy the Baja race episode a bit. The tech behind the vehicles is amazing. 1 thing I do like about Jessie, a quality that I wish I had, was the he never stops until he is happy with himself and his attempts to complete a goal. That is some amazing stuff.

+1 It was mildly entertaining at first but the "ooh it's dangerous" schtick gets old after about a minute. I like shows where people do inherently dangerous things but they don't feel the need to tell you about it. I can see that's it's dangerous, overpaid narrator dumbass. It's like cave diving. Yeah, it's inherently dangerous and I've done my fair share of it. I see shows where they're all dramatic like the guys are going to die any second and it's just stupid. Its draw for me was that it was one of the most relaxing things I've ever done.

I like how "Ice Road Truckers" does all the chop editing to try and make it look dangerous. They show the same clip, under water, every time a truck drives on the ice. They lay in sound of the ice cracking and popping. It's hilarious!!

The only time I've seen the Jessie show was when he rode across Alaska. Same type of narration as the heli flies over for an over head shot. I guess if anything goes wrong, the heli will just fly off and let them die.

As for jessie james the funny part is in every single episode other then this side car one his vehicles died on him.. or in his figure 8 demolition race he broke a rib and blamed it on the car as to why he wasn't going back out..

He can build a chopper but him and his crew suck at working on other bikes and cars IMO cause they have all choked on him..

looks like in the next episode he takes one pretty good and is on the ground not moving.. IS HE DEAD!!?!!?!?!? lol

Don't believe all the hype, Jesse James also lets a lot of publicity happen without correcting it. He does a lot of work that doesn;t get covered. He is BIG into the USO and goes to Iraq several times on his own dime, just to hand out with troops in the motor pool tuning wrenches. He is suppossed to be quite a baker and chef as well and they took the hydrogen car he had been developing long before this show aired for an episode. He decided he was gonna build one just to show the big manufactorers he could. He you look into him, rather than just the publicity stunts, he is really a good guy, does a lot cool stuff, and as Dallas mentioned, if you're even into fabrication as a spectator, there are few that equal his skill.

i think jessie james puts on a show for his viewers... like i said the derby 8 track he blamed it on the car why he wouldn't go back out when it was because he was crying about his ribs.. i mean just come out

on the side car one he was going off about how hes not scared one bit but then he was scared to go over 75..

I dunno but i think some of the episodes make him look like a panzy.. i cant wait to see how bad he is hurt in the next episode.. i mean cmon it is called jessie james is a dead man.. wonder whats on the finale!!! lol

that was a pretty good one, aside from the fact that he rolled it.. I think one of my fav so far was the nitro drag bike.. given he blew the motor on the first bike because he let off the gas and then hit it again cause he was scared. But he did almost slam it into the wall..

Its funny cause i was telling my brother i wanna send in to have him get on a track bike, then all of a sudden i seen him doing the side car.

Whats funny is he said he wasn't scared one bit to do the side car race, but when asked to jump in the passenger seat he cowered! wtf?
