Seriously, I wish she would just go away.

I think people are assuming that because she's stepping down as gov. that we won't have to hear about her anymore. Regardless of what she says, this really only makes me more scared that she will be campaigning for higher office in the near future, which is unfortunate because she gives repubs a bad name. Yes, she's attractive, yes she's a media whore and gets a lot of attention, no she will not do anything good for the gop (as great as hypocritical religious nutbags have been for the party thus far :scream1:). The absolute best way that I have heard Palin described is as a "bridge to nowhere".

I'd really like to be able to vote republican as I tend to agree with their base ideology far more than the alternative, however it's people like her who distort the basic party goals so much that keep me from casting my ballots in their favor. Very annoying.

In terms of what's best for the republican party, I think the best course of action would be to send arnold back in time and ensure that she was never born.

I do love me some shatner though.
