He's only 8 month old and over 5 feet tall when "stretched out". It sure sucks when he sneeks into bed at night....

Mine doesn't stretch out but she looks dead when she sleeps. On her back with all fours in the air/to the sides. Can't move her either. She sleeps in the middle of the bed too.

We have a Keeshond. Ten pounds of dog and 15 pounds of fur. She's all fluff and scared of everything....Chihuahua's included. Pittiful.

my dad's male was 25lbs before he was 4 months old

we're definately not a trial size dog kinda family....

keeshond's are pretty dogs though

Wouldn't call her trial size. She's a medium size. Anything less than 20 pounds isn't a dog--unless it's a puppy.

100+ are real dogs  unless they're chick dogs... then about 80lbs is the minimum

Classic "guy" line.

Hey... ya gotta make up for it's size some how.

You'd change your tune when 60lbs of my boxer was hangin teeth first from your scrotum. :D

My Dalmatians did that when they were puppies. They aren't quite as flexible when they get older.

My year old Greater Swiss Mountain dog does that all the time. Haven't measured her, but she's about 80lbs.....

We call her "Frog Dog" when she does that.....

Both my pups do that. Cracks me up. They look like a person when they do that. My Bull Terryer has just started sitting on the couch like a person as well. On his butt with his elbow up on the arm. Im sure if he had a thumb he would take the remote from me. haha

Good looking dog BTW

My labs both do that. Apparently only purebreds can do that. One of my labs grew out of it, the other never has (they are 6 and 7 years old)

My golden retreiver can't do that, bad hips and all like most pure bred goldens :( but he's a great dog and is a real man's dog, tall and prolly 110lbs

This is off the main subject, but does anyone know someone with a male Keeshond that isn't fixed? We'd like to breed ours once before getting her fixed. They are the cutest puppies!! And I swear they have facial expressions. Everyone we've found so far already had their dog fixed. So if anyone knows someone, PLEASE PM me. I'd really appreciate it.

Make that 135+ for a real dog. ;)

If it can't fin n a "purse" or bag, it's a dog. Smaller than 25-30 pounds, it's a rat or a mop.
