I don't remember what the issue was, but whenever he started crying/begging/pleading on the air about something I absolutely lost it in laughter.

Maybe Glenn Beck and Nancy Pelosi should get together and have a beer summit with Oblamzors...

in her mind... http://www.newsmax.com/insidecover/pelosi_swastikas_protest/2009/08/06/244772.html

the reality... http://www.washingtontimes.com/weblogs/watercooler/2009/aug/06/pelosis-visions-swastikas/

:scramble:

Everybody's just using shock language to snag headlines. It's all retarded - on both sides of the aisle.

Ha, all of that security BS is a direct cause of the Patriot Act. I have to go through it every time I logon to my computer at work. Mr. Beck was one of those screaming for it passage in order to safe guard the American way of life.

Got to love a turn coat.

You can argue Gov't intervention on both sides...

I just worked on a major $2 billion renovation of a power plant near Pueblo. Interestingly, 65% of their operating costs fall under "emission control" guidelines mandated by the Federal Government.

Think about that the next time you pay your electric bill. :(

Patriot Act / EPA... six of one, half a dozen of the other.

I agree with most things that I've heard from him. Of course, he makes the issues "theatrical" because it is that kind of thing that makes it more entertaining. The system could be used as he is explaining. Will it, hopefully not but it could and that is his point.

I love the way that liberals throw the term "wingnut" and "crazy" around when conservatives speak the truth about the other side. That makes me want to dance....

Glenn Beck is just a fat little boy crying for attention.

How did they make the jump from that agreement to tapping into your system indefinitely w/ "malware systems and tracking cookies"? Kind of reminds me of the "the internet is a series of tubes" argument.

Do I think this part of the agreement in the cash for clunkers thing is a little too much? Yes.
Do I think glenn beck is a moron who totally works against his cause by making others look stupid by association? Yes.

Fat little boy?????? Really, is this junior high???

And if you look at the law and the capabilities of modern technology, it can happen. I don't understand how a person pointing out reality can be compared to "the internet is a series of tubes". Bury your head in the sand and pretend that you are in your happy place while the world goes by...

Do you REALLY believe in the Global warming "theory"? The air could be cleaner, sure, but look at what it was like in the late 1800's and early 1900's. Plus, a huge amount of the garbage spewing into the air is in underdeveloped countries like mexico (mexico city) and in india, and china. So, what can we force them to do?

So, what do you do, personally, to pollute less?

Hummmmm.....global warming. It was global cooling in the 70s, then global warming 30 years later when it failed to properly cool, and now..just climate change. Let's get it right.
The great thing about climate change is it fits the current administration's theme and it covers anything that the climate might decide to do.

let me spell it out for you, they are making things up and indicating that the government will load your computer with malware to indefinitely control it without anything that can be used as a basis for those implications.

yes, it can happen, but the govt can also create vicious man-dophin hybrids to terrorize the seas. plus, it's a hybrid so it's good for the environment. the government is a very very big target, and if it did happen you would bet your ass that huge numbers of people would notice the random connections to unknown hosts within the first week and make a big deal about it. Yes, lots of people pay attention to that sort of thing. Basically, it's a couple of people talking about something they don't understand, and blatantly lying to scare their ratings up.

So, do I agree with the potentially decreased level of privacy imposed by the government in this instance? No, I think it's a bit wrong. Do either of those two morons have any idea what they are talking about? No, and they should leave discussion of it to non-morons who don't just guess that they know what they are talking about.

and yes, he IS a fat little boy always wimpering, complaining, pretending to cry about something in the most pathetic way possible.
