Most commonly I find my self describing Flow when discussing suspension. When considering expensive upgrades to suspension this is truley on of the most important aspects to consider, "FLOW". Bad flow is when there is inadequate oil passing through your pistions and valves. When you Valve suspension it would be pointless to do it to stock pistons because Flow must be adressed first. The oil passes through the piston first then over the valve. The bottom line is with more oil passing through the piston, there is more internal and external tunablility. With more Flow every click on your clicker makes a greater % change to your suspension. When I valve a set of forks or a shock I increase the amount of Flow through the piston and then tune it with Valving and Springforce.
