OK - I'm at my wit's end here...

After repainting all of my kitchen walls, and pulling back the masking tape at the ceiling, I found a lot of paint had bled under the masking tape due to the textured ceiling. Is there ANY way to get a straight line on textured surfaces? Anyone know a trick for this?

If you put the tape on the wall and then put a very thin layer of paintable calk at the tapes edge this will solve your problem. The caulking will fill the gaps so you will not have bleading and then it tears and you are left with a straight line. Hope this helps.
