You know, I think we should hold our politicians to a higher standard. If they fail, they should be publicly executed as a warning to others to hold true to their oaths of office...

I agree with this statement. Fuck that's some expensive first class action.

Higher Standard? Hell, I'd be happy if they would just adhere to the same standards we do.

Although, I'm glad his wife kicked him top the curb. I am soo tired of these mealy mouthed "We'll-work-through-this-private-matter-together" types. Just once, I would love to see one of these ladies just go ape-shit doing a teary eyed conference and beat the hell out of her douchebag husband.

I've said it before, but if I was that govenor, the headline would read "Governor Disappears Amist Allegations of Argentinan Mistress." a sub-line would read "1st Lady takes Vacation to Puerto Rico."

That is what they do in China. A few were executed over that Melamine scare last year.

At least outcry can get results (sometimes)...

Congress dropped their plans for those spendy planes after word got out about the plan, and everyone got ticked off.

Yeah, unless they just label the outrage as "manufactured" then they just ignore it...

Too bad people have to object to poor decisions instead of the law makers just doing the right thing.

Funny how in many elections we value lofty college degrees and collegiate social clubs instead of smart, common sense people.

Did you hear Pelosi's comments about the people protesting the health care proposals? Apparently, it's un-American to protest... huh... who knew...

...and they're Nazis. Apparently if there is a Republican in office it is your duty as a citizen to question, debate, hold their feet to the fire. If there is a Democrat in office we are required to shut up, submit and never question anything they ever attempt to shove down our plebeian throats.

I was listening to a town hall meeting with Arlen Specter this morning and I was laughing at the number of people who started with "I'm not being paid to be here. I'm an ordinary citizen..." :)

He was getting an earful to put it mildly. I give him credit for being there and not canceling it.
