Still a blast to ride, and oh the sound. I thought this morning was a good day to take the X out for a ride. Not bad looking for 30 years old either.

Any body up for a vintage bike ride?

I had a CB750 of the same era, and always lusted after a cbx.

My old lady is 4 cylinders short but still fun. 31 this year.

I'd be up for a vintage ride :)

You have a great lookin' X.:)

There aren't many X's in Colorado. I'm the proud owner of 3 of them. All stock '79 (should be silver, temporarily red), stock '80 and an ex-race bike based on a modified '81 frame.

I don't know how many vintage sport bike owners are on this forum but a vintage bike ride would be fun.:)

That might just be too much awesomeness for this state to handle. Throw in some CBX's and it's game over. :)

Don't know if you vintage bike owner know this or not but Colorado now has 'Motocycle Collector' plates for bike which are 25 years old. These plates don't cost more and last for 5 years. But, you better hurry because on Sept 1st. bike and cars will need to be 35 years old to get this plates. I guess the state needs more money :-(

I think it would be great for us in the club to get some of these old bike together. I know I would like to see them and I'm sure others would too. Speak up, may we can get something to happen.
