What ever bulldog tells you it it not a good idea getting your nose fixed. Possibly one of the worst experiences I've went through to date. And last monday I took a line drive to the nuts while pitching in softball.

taking a line drive to the nuts most likely (and I am not expert) had nothing to do with your surgery for a deviated septum. Unless your doctor was a nutjob. hahaha get it, "nutjob"

And I never believe anything Bulldog says. He took a perfectly good CBR and managed to deface it 2 times in 1 summer.

i believe he is trying to say that he would rather take a line drive in the nuts, then deal with this again...

So you went through with the surgery huh! I never said it was not a horrible surgery, but the after effects will be worth it in about 3-6 months when you can breathe better and not get sinus infections all the time. For anyone that does not know, I went through a majo deviated septum surgery about 6 months back and after talking with Krafty realized he had the same problems I did and told him he needed the surgery. It is a hard surgery to go through since they basically break your nose and piece it back together (on me they also drilled holes into my skull to help draning, burned the inside of my nose where infection had messed up, then made the nose look pretty with a file). I will pm you my phone # and call me if you need any tips on it. The main thing is to keep it clean and moist inside.

Have you already had the splint removed? I had one inside and one outside. If so that is the worst part, so hopefully that is over and done with.

He took a perfectly good CBR and managed to deface it 2 times in 1 summer. lol...I have broken two mirrors and not from dumping it, but basically because they are ebay crappy mirrors that break easy when touched. Don't forget I did add a PCIII and Frame Sliders, so I am still making this perfectly good CBR even better. Dana, you need to take it for a ride (when you are sober!!!) and tell me what you think of the difference the Power Commander made. To me it is like a different running bike with no dead spots on the throttle :)

Did you find replacement mirrors? Well I wouldn't let just anyone ride my bike, so it says a lot that I will offer it to you, but she was yours first and now I just have Dana's sloppy seconds. hahaha

I did and it broke again in the same place. Guess the metal rod does not go through the entire mount. Emailed the guy and he said to send him a picture, so I will see what he does. I guess I shouldn't complain though since they are a third of the price as stock mirrors with the signal integrated.

bulldog takes better meds to ease the pain. The meds to watch out for are the ones the doctor prescribe!!! Even those are the legal ones, they are bad news and I got off of those right away when I could handle the pain.

When did you find out about the drilled holes in the head? Can they explain everything that needs to be done prior to the actual surgery? How long did you have to wear the splint? Did you have to miss work?

Well it all started because I kept getting sinus infections. Got to the point where they didn’t want to give me anymore antibiotics because my body would get immune to them. Doctor sent me for a cat-scan of my sinuses. Found a problem and sent me to a specialist. Basically fist visit to the specialist and he saw my cat-scan result and told me then what would need to be done and even scheduled the surgery that day for two weeks later. Got the surgery on a Monday morning and wore two splints (one inside one on outside) till Friday morning. I took a week off of work, but that was not enough and I should have stayed home another week because I came back to work with two huge black eyes and feeling like crap.

Damn no work from Krafty yet huh? Man I feel for you, but know it will be worth it in the long run :) Heal quick brother!!!

The worst part of taking the line drive is after I got myselft collected. Every time the guy came up to bat the other team chanted, "watch the line drive." Man I love to hate softball.
