I too want to see it. Was disappointed in Transformers 2. Wasn't bad, but was too much look at our CG fighting.

I had to watch a really bad bootleg version. You think you had it bad.

I was wondering about this. I don't care for Brad Pitt at all and Tarantino's stuff can go either way for me. The previews make it hard to tell what kind of movie this one is gonna be....

True about Brad not being the greatest actor, but he can be fun. Going to ride the Bandit to see it tonight. I read the review and it was described as Jewish Porn(I'm still chuckling about that one!).

Heard it was up there with Pulp Fiction.

Never been a huge fan of his movies. I'll have to see it soon.

District 9 was a good enough story; I enjoyed the movie. Sci-fi and action flicks are normally at the top of my no-thank-you list, but the backstory behind it all was intriguing enough, and they didn't rely on "effects". Character development was pretty compelling. And hey.... I've spent $8.00 in worse ways, that's for sure.

I'll probably wait for I.B. to come out on DVD.

I caught this one this weekend and I thought it was great. If you Like Quentin Taratino's work then you will probably enjoy it. I am sure it will be an instant classic with its own cult following.

Listening to Brad Pitt's Tennessee southern accent when you're a southerner is a bit like scratching a chalkboard. The movie was fine when he wasn't on it. I cringed every time he opened his mouth.
......I hate fake southern accents.

I am sure the Brits think the same thing when Hollywood tries to do theirs, but I agree, its not like a southern accent is that hard to do! I even caught myself saying tabbaca last night when I was reading a joke out loud. And it was spelled correctly.

Disappointing flick. I was expecting Jew vengeance with violence on par with Death Proof, instead I got a film that could have been PG-13.

Long winded dialog and the action payoff was tame. Shit man... Ron Howard's "Saving Private Ryan" kicked the crap out of the shootouts Quention did in this dumbed down film. LAME for Taraintino, very LAME and WEAK. It is Surprisingly subdued for a man that has directed such a great fight scenes like the many in "Kill Bill" and the one where James Gandofini get his ass handed to him in
"True Romance".

I really hope the DVD release has a unrated version with more violence.

DISAPPOINTING Piece of CRAP

BTW District 9 has a weapon that makes humans EXPLODE (FRAGTASTIC).
