Thats what I was wondering as well but Jackson County is in the Walden area. The big sweepers around Walden can be a problem.

(I did notice that the state patrol was monitoring the road out to HPR yesterday :()

Good luck with the ticket.

Easy to do that in/out of Walden. Best of luck... get some representation.

I saw a cop on 36 out to HPR yeasterday running radar. Also had found a cop the hard way on the way back on I-70 about 10 miles outside of Byers =( 91 in a 75 but he was nice enough to give me a warning.

Rode out around the Steamboat area this weekend and saw a few cops. Tons of signs about cracking down on DUI's though. They were pulling them over on I70 like flies on shit.

Good luck with the ticket. That's a very open area and very easy to go fast. Especially the straight roads into Walden and the sweepers at the top of Poudre Canyon.

Know the feeling, got hit with a 79 in a 55 last weekend on I70 between Eisenhower and Denver.
First speeding ticket in the two years since I've lost my license.

Wow. I'm in surprised they didn't toss you in the slammer. Hopefully, and I suspect, that is because your record leading up to it was better than average.

Good luck with that one . . . perhaps it's time to start going to church . . .:scramble:

Ya I got one last week on Lincoln Ave, in Parker, in my truck, it was legit though just don't know where he came from was cool as hell about it(still got the ticket) but I couldn't find any of my paperwork for registration, Insurance, nothing and was doing 70 in the 50 and he wrote the ticket on a 1 point 59 in the 50 so I am OK with that. He was an older Douglas County sheriff Guy. I felt real lucky.

Yeah, it did happen at ~10:30 on a sunday morn. At least the timing would be different.

By the way, whats the cost of getting a lawyer for this kinda stuff? My general theory on life is to do things as cheaply as possible. If the difference between having a lawyer and not is 2 points, then is the insurance cost benefit for skipping those 2 pts going to cover the lawyer fees? you see my theory?

I think its time to get myself a motard and stay below the radar for a while...
