OK, this is like a comedy. I am leaving my report EVEN IF there are two at the end of the day....



Willb03 and I took the SM's out for a few hours on Sunday. We were supposed to get started at noon, but my dumbass forgot about having to go get a car from the night before so we finally met at 1pm one exit north of Sheridan off 36. We went and screwed around in the parking lot of a bowling alley doing wheelies and whatnot and made a few passes on a pretty obscure jump. Crazy fun, Will gets the big ball award for doing it first.

Then we headed up through Boulder (traffic really wasn't bad) to 7 and then to Peak to Peak. We hit probably every dirt road turn off looking for some place to have fun and didn't find anything great until we got to P2P. About a mile down on the right are a network of FS roads that we played on for a couple hours.

Finally, it was about 4 o'clock so we headed out, took a breather in Nederland where Will attempted to ride down a set of stairs. Definitely NOT a how-to video:shocked:

We then tried a few more dirt roads, and made our way home. I haven't had that much fun since my last race and anyone with a Sumo would be stupid not to do this sometime.

I am getting my GS500 wheels mounted in a week so I will be 'tarded as well. How did those tires handle on the FS roads?

Dana: I was running the power races, and all I could think was "please don't cut my new tires!"

I would definitely run distanzias if I weren't at the track so much!

So I got tomorrow off, any one doing a tard ride? mine hasn't seen the road for a couple weeks now :scream1:

It's National Karting Day! All public roads are to be motorcycle free to give the karts free reign...

I'll be at the Chicane track day this weekend. But no, I don't ride anymore really. My sumo motor is still in pieces all over my work bench. Soon, grasshopper, soon.

I ordered my spacers for the GS500 wheels to fit the DRZ :)

Now, I need to get a bracket made for the front caliper and have the rear wheel machined a tad bit.

I will see you guys out there soon looking similar to this :)
