I just bought a bottle of Water Wetter to replace orignal coolant for trackday, and have no clue on how much I should put in. Can I just put the whole bottle or do what it says on the bottle " 1 ounce (3-4 capsful) per quart or 1 bottle per automotive cooling system of 12-20 quarts"

?????????

I figure I would do the whole thing since its a lil dick bottle.

doo eet.
though you dont really need it assuming your putting coolant back in after which I would highly recommend seeing the chill is right around the corner

Follow the instructions on the bottle. Don't use the whole thing.. lol

- consult your factory service manual for the cooling system capacity
- mix up roughly 20% more of the distilled water/water wetter mixture than you deem necessary
- make sure you pull all necessary drain plugs and flush cooling system with water until it runs clear
- reinstall said drain plugs
- fill and bleed cooling system as per the factory service manual
- run through a few heat cycles and recheck coolant level

having air pockets in the system is a bad thing, so make sure you follow the bleeding procedure if there is one.

Your cooling system holds about 3 quarts, so 9-12 capfulls and fill the rest with water. Be SURE do drain it out and refill with 50/50 antifreeze mix before the weather cools off, as Water Wetter provides NO freeze protection.

Buy a 1 gallon jug of distilled water, dump out a couple of ounces, then put in 10-12 capfuls of water wetter. The result will be a light pink.
Drain the coolant out of your bike (save it if you want to re-use it).
Flush the system with a hose.
Plug it all back up, then fill with the water wetter mixture created in step 1.
