9/11 memorial stair climb photos

These were taken after climbing 110 stories of the Qwest building in downtown denver to remember the 343 fallen fire fighters on 9/11. There were 343 fire fighters from all over colorado and 4 other states to do the climb. The Qwest building is climbed twice. Everyone was in full bunker gear. Most carried SCBA's, tools and high rise hose packs.

We don't its 55 stories that's climbed twice. And repeling of that would be fun but base jumping even better

When we did the mock evacuation in the Wells Fargo Building people couldn't walk down the stairs without getting winded. I had fun and made it in about 10 min. But I also got the floor marshall job of wearing a red hat and making sure the floor was empty before I got to go. Little did they know I had my parachute and wasn't planning on walking thru any fires to get out.

Firemen are bad ass. I still support our troops too. I have a little brother and sister serving in the Marines in Afganastone right now. My sister is teaching the troops about nuclear and biological hazards. My brother is a scout on an LAV (light armored vehicle). So I support our troops without question they are doing the job that others take for lesser work.
