INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY PROFESSIONAL I H2I3XX Pos. #107854 Job Posting #808134 $4110 - $6535 per month plus benefits

The position is located in the Department of Human Resources and performs work in assessing, analyzing, designing, installing, implementing and maintaining the departmental IT systems. Duties of this position include: configuring, installing and testing Microsoft network system hardware infrastructure and software; creating and maintaining departmental databases using Microsoft Access, SQL server, InfoPath, Oracle etc.; designing, maintaining and updating departmental website content; maintaining hardware and software including timely renewal; training departmental users on various facets on the network system, and performing daily information system back-up.


Required Education/Experience/Skills (Minimum Qualifications)
Minimum Requirements: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, Computer Operations, Engineering Mathematics, Statistics, or Statistical Analysis AND one year of full-time or equivalent, designing, implementing, installing and maintaining a large local area computer network in a Windows Active Directory environment using Oracle-based and/or Microsoft SQL Server-based client/server database systems and website development and maintenance experience.

Substitution: Work experience as described above which provided the same kind, amount and level of knowledge acquired in the required education, may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis. A Master's degree in a field listed above may substitute for the required Bachelor's degree and the year of experience.

Desired qualifications
Highly Desirable: The successful candidate will have experience with Human Resource Management Systems at the University o f Colorado or in another higher education environment. Experience with relational databases and Windows 2008 server is also desirable.
