View Full Version : Sooo, anybody here into playing sports?

Does anybody over here into playing sports? Tennis, voleyball, basketball, soccer (feetball), ping pong or something else? Or is it really a drinking club with a motorcycle problem as Devaclis says?

I was thinking we could meet somewhere play voleyball and have some fun. Any ideas?

there was a person here, long ago, who played sports.

We killed him and then had a beer.

Wouldn't mind getting back into soccer, but I'm awful at it and not willing to drive to Dick's in the middle of BFE just to play on one of their 5000 fields...

That's where I popped my ACL two years ago & why I haven't played since. I wouldn't mind indoor, but I'm not sure I'm in good enough condition to sprint that much. Again, i'm also not good in any way, shape, or form, so that's more apparent with indoor since you're in a much more confined space

I'd kill to get back into tennis. Haven't played at all since I stopped after middle school. If you wanna play, I'd totally be down.

Same for relaxed volleyball, we could do Wash park some weekend day with brews and grills.

Flag Football!! :) My apartment complex is actually trying to start a league. Seriously. I thought it'd be a blast. There's been some talk about volleyball on some past threads. I think if we set a specific day and time each week/month/whenever, we could get something going. Like MetaLord said, it takes work to organize. Why don't you organize something Falcon? See what people are into and roll with it :)

Ladies & Gents,

It's doesn't matter whether you think you suck or not. It's just about having some good time. I'd rather play outside, wash park or some other park which is kind of in the middle so ppl don't need to ride/drive for hours.

Could you please pm your email addresses? Since a ton of ppl are going to be riding this Saturday, I will set something up for next Saturday and send everybody e-vites.

We will figure something out.
thanks

Falcon did a great job of organizing an event and sending out the invites, but not enough people were intersted to pull it off. I guess we're shooting for next Sunday now? Please give him your email if you haven't done so already if you are interested. I'd love to ask for the time off work to play since I never get to, but if it's gonna be canceled again from people not responding I may as well work and make some money.

the problem with all the above mentioned sports is that all of them require merely ONE BALL.
my sport (motorbike riding) requires TWO BALLS!! the bigger, the better.

outside of this I enjoy fierce sessions of pocket pool until the next time I ride which coincidentaly also requires two balls.

have a nice day
