Ricky and I took a trip up to Glenwood this weekend! We had a great time and got to ride our bikes through all of the elements in a single day. It was quite an adventure, but folks....don't try this at home!

I want to thank Jim at TFOG for loaning us tools to get my bike back on the road! We had stopped outside Golden to top of our gas tanks. When we tried to leave, there was something wrong with my bike. Turns out my drive sprocket came off. We didn't have the tools with us to fix it, but Jim was kind enough to let Ricky come get some tools to get it back on the road! This trip wouldn't have been possible without his kindness and generosity! Here are a few pictures from the trip. :)

What a great way to have a long weekend riding...well, 'cept for the snow. That would scare the bejeezus outta me not being able to see through the visor.

Looks like you two had a blast otherwise and got to see some awesome Colorado color.:)

Glad you two are back safe and sound.

Cool pics, thanks for sharing! Glad you guys made it through the snow OK and got back safely. Not always fun while you're in situations like that - but always cool to look back and bring up when sharing adventure stories. :)

You forget to install, or bend the tab, of the retaining washer. :banghead:

It was an awesome trip! It was cold and wet on the way home, but it was worth every minute! I think my pinky fingers on both hands suffered some nerve damage, they're still not right.
