...Be on the lookout for a group of wild turkeys! They usually hang out around one of the last curves before Hwy 7.

I just took one of them out a little while ago.

Busted the fairings up a bit, but stayed out of the radiator, and it didn't put me on the ground, so I'm glad for all that.

Be careful out there!

We had a near miss with some wild turkeys near Masonville. They don't seem to try very hard to get out of the way.

Turkey is far from my favorite cuisine, and after assessing the damage to my ride and smelling the burning feathers caught in my exhaust headers, I now have even more disdain for those ugly ass beasts.

I don't blame you in the least! Those ugly things are big enough to really upset your balance too - glad you didn't get hurt!

Wow that is something I havent seen yet I am on that road all the time. Did some damage for sure. Atleast you didnt crash,thank god .But yeah could of taken that bird home ,,thanksgiving what a story to tell while eating dinner..good one..
