Is there such a thing that I can put over my helmet, to protect it from the elements, when it is locked to my back seat of the bike. I commute to school and there is never really a place to keep my helmet, so I lock it up to the bike. This is fine during a nice sunny day, but I'd like to find something waterproof that could go over it. Does that make sense? Any ideas? I've used a grocery bag in the past but wouldn't mind something nicer. Thanks!

This looks pretty durable. From Scorpion. There is also like a neoprine one I am trying to find

Rob/Chris, yeah I know about just having a helmet bag, I have one. I'm looking for something that would be good outside and would still allow me to attach it to my bike when it's parked.

I'd just carry it with you. On the shitty days here at campus I just bring my helmet with me to class and put it on the floor. Chicks dig it.

The helmet bags the DK was selling had a hole in the bottom to put the strap through so you could attach it to the bike. I'm not sure if it was waterproof or not, but if push comes to shove just get a couple shower caps, cut 'em, & duct tape 'em together. No one would try to steal your helmet then!

And don't worry, I don't think anyone has ever looked at my bike and thought, "I'm willing to risk going to jail to steal this bike."

Phil Wenneck (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0177896/): You're not really wearing that are you?
Alan Garner (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0302108/): Wearing what?
Phil Wenneck (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0177896/): The man purse. You actually gonna wear that or are you just fuckin' with me?
Alan Garner (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0302108/): It's where I keep all my things. Get a lot of compliments on this. Plus it's not a purse, it's called a satchel. Indiana Jones wears one.
Phil Wenneck (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0177896/): So does Joy Behar.
