I'm looking for a (ex?) luthier by the name of Ron Oates who was last known to be based out of Boulder, and a phone number is all I need. Long story short, I have in my possession a Bass guitar crafted by the guy that used to be my dad's. I'd like to have him go through it, as well as tell me about it, and perhaps even inquire about his relationship with my dad. Due to some internet drama, he was "chased" underground and pulled his contact info from the web, so I'm hoping someone who might play string knows where he is. Thanks in advance.
