Considering they've gotten about 6 inches since this morning. And expecting another 12 by tomorrow morning, plus their 18" base already. I think our boards will be fine.

Don't be jealousy!!!!

I went today, and conditions were nice! A few icy spots, no ground/rocks/trees poking out anywhere that I saw. A little choppy(mogul style), but not too bad. And with all the new snow, should be awesome on Wednesday! The line(for the one open run) wasn't too bad either, as the new lift moves it fairly quickly. I did about 5 runs before heading home.

It's only Tuesday, but I do enjoy seeing this in the morning:

"We're pleased to report that Arapahoe Basin Ski & Snowboard Area received 8.0" of snow in the past 24 hours! Today's a perfect day to sneak out and get-in some great skiing or boarding at the Basin.

For a complete condition report, check our web site at: http://www.arapahoebasin.com/snow

We hope to see you on the slopes!"

This is yet another season I can add to the list of birthdays, christmases, anniversaries, etc, that Iraq has taken away from me. Maybe if I'm lucky they will still be snow in March. But then I can't ride my bike...

Such is life, I guess.

Such is life, I guess.fuck the bike. February and March are usually the best months out here. So you'll be fine. Plus the resorts stay open through May and June.

I dunno if I'd call A-Basin an outright resort
