Got a group of friends going and thought I'd extend the invite here as well. Warren Miller's 61st film - Wintervention - is playing in a week and a half at the Paramount Theater in Downtown Denver.

Tickets are ~$30 after paying fees and whatnot, comes with free parking. Also, last year the tickets gave you other benefits like BOGO for Steamboat lift tickets and things like that.

We're looking at the following dates and times. I'm pulling for a Thursday showing.

Thursday, November 18, 6pm
Thursday, November 18, 9pm
Friday, November 19, 6pm
Saturday, November 20, 2:30pm

Please feel free to join us and I'll update here as plans finalize.

I thought there was another thread around here...just forgot to look for it. Also, this is more about a specific group going.

Damn the trailer shows what looks like a massive all mountain race. I desperately want to do that

Just FYI...Warren Miller Entertainment is just a name. The real Warren Miller had nothing to do with this movie.

^sad... but I noticed the past few movies really haven't been the same and knew that he wasn't narrating them. I didn't know he sold the biz to his son. I wish the best for him, he has a great sense of humor :)

??? Hmmm .. I didn't know that.

The original Miller movies always stood out, they were kind of hokey and humorous, showing destinations and skiing rather than who could stick the biggest cliff drop or the longest gap.

I was kinda excited they actually had some snowboarding in it this year. I felt like there were just a couple of token clips in last years movie.

As far as it being sold, well, it had to happen sometime.
