Call of Duty: Black Ops, comes out Tuesday (or for the hardcore midnight tonight).

Like the previous edition the online looks like it's going to be better than ever. Lucky for me i'm on a flex-type schedule this week and have THR-MON off to level up to "General of the Free World" so that I can kick some 12 year old ass when they get the game for Christmas!

I got bored/burned out on COD MW:2, and I refused to pay $30 for "new" maps that are recycled old maps.

From what I read, Black Ops will have even more DLC and pay-to-win options (like Battlefield Heroes).

So...I'm on the fence about how 'good' this will be.

Still, it's gotta be better than MoH, that was a disappointment...

^^ only reason I can think of is that development companies now offer deals with pre-orders... special in game farkles, merchant discounts, etc...

The only reason I pre-ordered Halo Reach is because I got a $20 gift card from Best Buy. Which, the way I see it, was 33% off the cost of the game... pretty good sale price.

You can still do this for COD4, just do it now before it releases. You don't get the gift card anymore, you get "credits", and they're worth $10.

If you can wait, you can pre-order on Amazon and get a $20 credit...

Game is siiiiiiick!!!! Woohoooooo Vegging out on the couch for my 4 day weekend starting tomorrow night! One of my recruiters in my office purchased the Prestige Edition that came with a little RC car with working audio/video camera that broadcasts to the remote! Watch out womens locker rooms all over the country! LOL

maybe I'm alone, but I'm not liking it at ALL.

It's like the worst rehash of COD: WaW & MW2 mashed together.

The SP wasn't as exciting, the MP is SLOW and I'm already hating the stupid currency system. While the split-screen is cool, I prefer the Special Ops to the stupid zombies. And is it me or do the graphics look WORSE than MW2?

I'll give it until this weekend, but I'm thinking I'll post it up for $50 and try to recoup some of my lost $68 bucks... :(
