I know the deputy and this really isn't surprising at all. Yes, the citations are all for valid infractions, but that's like writing a ticket for 56 in a 55 zone. I have way better things to do with time, like eat donuts, than write petty stuff like that.

No seriously, I had one of those mailboxes and just stopped on the opposite side of the road and walked to the mail box. You have to get out of your car anyway.

My mom has one of these mailboxes, when I was home one leave I rode my bike up onto the sidewalk and didn't bother dismounting. :lol:

The curb is one of those rounded driveway type ones though, and there's only an empty lot behind the boxes and the sidewalk, no houses or anything.
