This is cool, and you can build one cheap.

I dig that. The kit appeals to the grease monkey in me.

...it just seems wrong to me.

It looks like a nice bike & all, but it kinda fits the me too crowd more than the actual cafe racer crowd. Cafe racers should be custom bikes and no two should look alike. I guess I'm just a purist though...

Not completely unique, but you'd be hard pressed to find two in any one place. I'd do one if I hadn't just dropped a wad on my DRZ build.

Odd looking.. something about that raked front, fat tire and drag bars that screams bobber more than cafe.

I don't necessarily hate em, but I hate folks that advertise on CL their "cafe" racer which looks more like a cruiser or a bobber. Makes those of us looking for genuine cafe bikes have to weed through a lot of trash.

Haha, 3k he is asking for the kit? For that price I will build someone there Vintage 70's bike of their dreams plus the genuine cafe treatment... And as a bonus I will offer a full fairing and tank, think ala Rickman or Dunstall style...

But then again, thats how i roll!!!

Find a bike that works for you and go to town. it doesn't have to be a CB or Bonnie. Usually the more unique bike you can find/turn into a cafe racer the better!

I'm pretty happy with mine! Yeah, I didn't build it, but I love it.
