I DO know that these "free" credit report sites are all pretty scammy because they imply that you are going to pay a monthly fee in the fine print. What I'm trying to find out, is if myfico.com is a website used to get users info and exploit it.
My GF was looking into an apartment out here in Denver, and the guy emailed her saying he needs a credit report, and she can get one at myfico. She didn't know any better and went ahead and got the report. So I'm trying to do some research to see if she just gave away all her info, or if it's just a credit report site.
Everything I've seen so far seems like it's ok, just wondering if anyone has had an issue with it before.
(she did cancel everything the other day so she will not be getting any surprise fees)
thanks all
