I could be talked into bringing some brats if I can remember after my vacation to Seattle.

Anyone going to be there Friday? If I can get some interest, I could be talked into bringing a salmon back for apple-smoking...

I will bring the BBQ/Smoker so bring your favorite meat and lets burn some flesh.

BBQ Update: I was having a hell of a time getting the Q to turn. It had 1 1/2" casters stock. So I just got done upgrading to some nice Harbor Freight 3" casters. Baby has some new rubber.

It must be getting close to race season I'm jazzed the Q has new tires.

"I'm so fast, even my BBQ is sponsored..."

Lurch, which days are you cooking? I was going to get it on for the crews, just burgers/brats and stuff. However half my crew appears to be eating at your pit anyway. Feel like coordinating efforts? I'll still bring the "new Q" down since it'll be a lot to fit on one...

Not sure about Friday because I don't know when I will get there.

Bob I just found a place in WrastleCock called Colorado Sausage Co. I will try and get by and pick up some kibble. They have like 25 different kinds of sausage.

Well, seeing as how I am on here posting... instead of driving down to Pueblo.

I already reserved a room, so I'll pack up and head down this afternoon and take my time getting down there. Today looks like a total write-off, but tomorrow looks promising.

Unfortunately, weather.com has Sunday looking a lot like today. :x Of course, this is EXACTLY what happened last year for the first race... and it ended up being PERFECT out the whole weekend.

Dean brought his dog down, I'm pretty sure he had to pay an extra fee for it though. Anyone know where they are planning to stay? Wingate maybe? :dunno:

Practice cancelled today due to snow most of the morning (don't worry, no accumulation - just wet) and it being quite cold.

Saturday and Sunday are still on and have a chance of rain, however should be a lot better than today.

Unless the weather forcast changes drastically I am going to puss out on this one.. just not in the mood for this shit as weather.. plus I am not up for a wet race for my first time at pueblo...

Devil954
Fri Apr 29th, 2005, 07:29 PM
Oh c'mon mount your studded slicks and come down  actually its supposed to be mixed sun and clouds and in the 60's tomorrow , shouldnt be to bad hopefully . You dont want to go to PPIR with no points . You will end up having to do heat races to qualify .

Bertha
Fri Apr 29th, 2005, 07:52 PM
I'm sitting out this race... Weather is looking too shitty and just not worth the chance of crashing due to cold wet track, I'll take my chances on the heat races :(

Bertha
Fri Apr 29th, 2005, 07:53 PM
