Fair weather photographers

CBS Sunday Morning did a great piece last weekend on the end of Kodachrome. I'm very disappointed I cannot find it on Hulu or anywhere else on the net.

that's not their video piece. On Hulu, they have clips from last Sunday's episode with about every segment BUT the Kodachrome bit.

The first clip was damn funny. I have to agree "Most people prefer an infinite amount of bad photographs than 36 nice pictures" Watching all these classic films go by the wayside is sad, but just the world we live in I suppose.

I still have a few rolls of film and the cameras to use them; an older film body SLR, and a TLR. Once in a while I take them out and shoot off a roll for grins. But I can't just take them from the camera and photoshop them, and post them on CSC like I can with digital. Just because the medium changes doesn't mean creativity and photographic skill is obsolete. Just look at that other post with photos from Boston.com
