One of the prettiest bikes I've ever seen let alone owned. 2009 CBR1000RR.

Wow, that's awesome, I usually don't like the new 1000RRs but that's gorgeous, the white is really nice. Jealous....

Hows the ride feel compared to the 600RR you had before apart from the power? I never had a chance to ride the 1000 but I loved how poised and scalpel like the handling was on the 600.

still ugly as shit, but sweet bike man...a 1000 at close to sea level has got to feel awesome!

I'll let you know later this week. Beautiful day today but can't ride since my insurance company takes the weekends off . :x I rode it to my buddy's house last night which is like half a mile from my place and I gave it just a little bit of gas and the front end was coming up and I didn't even realize it. Ridiculous amount of power.

I'm hoping it doesn't get me in trouble.

My weaksause triumph would put daylight under the front tire in first and second just by cracking the throttle...up here the thing is a dog. the only literbike I've ridden was that beemer on a demo ride, but it'd probably be downright scary at sea level

Eh, somewhat locally. Drive was about 2.5 hours.

Well I actually got to test this beast out last weekend, unfortunately my buddy wrecked and broke a few bones in his hands but other than that he is alright. Actually two people went down pretty bad but the other guy came out of his wreck unscathed other than a bloody pinky finger and some damage to his pride.

Anyways, when I first rode the 1000RR, it felt like the ergonomics were quite a bit more aggressive than my old 600RR, but I guess that's just because I hadn't been on a supersport in 6 months. I put over 400 miles on it Sunday and the only things that was noticeably sore were my thighs. I could have definitely gone longer that day but it was dark and cold by the time I had gotten home, plus I was a bit shaken up by what had happened earlier in the day.

Aside from that, obviously the power is incredible. I feel like the power delivery is smoother than the 600RR. To me, the 1000RR is pretty much just as agile as the 600RR. Only thing I really worried about during my ride was giving the bike too much power in curves and losing rear wheel traction.

Something else that I like about the 1000RR is that it's actually got some space under the passenger seat to store stuff. If you've seen the storage space on the 600RR, you'll know you can barely fit a credit card in there. I managed to fit a small first aid bag along with some clear glasses for if I get caught in the dark with my tinted visor.

Between the 1000RR and the 600RR, I like the 1000RR more. But at this point, I've been happy with all the Honda's I've ridden, so you can't really go wrong regardless.
