Taking a road trip to south dakota, other than mt. Rushmore and devils tower. What would be a great place to go?

I you're going to do those two, then you need to hit up the Crazy Horse Monument as well

Sturgis?? :) ;)

Seriously, it could be an interesting place to checkout when it is not bike week. There is probably a lot of history there.

The Black Hills and around Sturgis has great riding when not overrun by Harleys during Sturgis bike week.

I guess the funding for that disappeared. I was there a couple years ago. Not as impressive as you'd think.

The black hills have some good wheelin spots too.

The family that's been heading-up the whole project, only operates on private donations, and the public. They've never accepted any sort of government funding, and don't have any plans to.

Because of that, the whole thing will ebb and flow over the years. It likely won't be finished for a few more generations, but for me, that's part of what makes it a cool endeavor.
