The Melo-drama is over.
Sad to see him go, but Kroenke certainly wasn't going to spend the cash to surround him with championship caliber talent.
I think the Nuggets future looks pretty bleak :(

This is from Melo's twitter acct. back in July

As a part of the deal, the Knicks will send Wilson Chandler (http://espn.go.com/nba/player/_/id/3194/wilson-chandler), Raymond Felton (http://espn.go.com/nba/player/_/id/2753/raymond-felton), Danilo Gallinari (http://espn.go.com/nba/player/_/id/3428/danilo-gallinari), Timofey Mozgov (http://espn.go.com/nba/player/_/id/4298/timofey-mozgov), and a 2014 first-round draft pick to the Nuggets, who would get additional picks and cash, league sources told Broussard. Along with Anthony, New York would acquire Chauncey Billups (http://espn.go.com/nba/player/_/id/63/chauncey-billups), Shelden Williams (http://espn.go.com/nba/player/_/id/3040/shelden-williams), Anthony Carter (http://espn.go.com/nba/player/_/id/137/anthony-carter) and Renaldo Balkman (http://espn.go.com/nba/player/_/id/2986/renaldo-balkman), the sources said.
New York will send Anthony Randolph (http://espn.go.com/nba/player/_/id/3455/anthony-randolph) and Eddy Curry (http://espn.go.com/nba/player/_/id/990/eddy-curry) to Minnesota as part of the deal in exchange for Corey Brewer (http://espn.go.com/nba/player/_/id/3191/corey-brewer), a league source told Broussard.

all the player except Mozgov average double digit points, gallinari has great potential and felton is a good point guard with lots of room for growth like ty lawson. We will probably make a few more trades before the deadline is over. and billups will probably be back by next year or the year after. The Nugs definitely took a few if not more steps back with this trade but if he doesn't want to be here, then let him go

The drama is not over yet...look for the Net's to pick up some of those new players from the Nuggets via the 'Nicks.

Is this a bad move for the 'Nugs? Not really, as 'Melo would have left the team this summer alla Lebron..the Nugget's do get alot of talent and probably more in the next few days.

Billups will be back in a couple years as some sort of front office/coaching gig with the Nuggets.

Why didn't just swap it all, I kind of like the ring of the Denver Knicks and the New York Nuggets...
