So I am trying to translate "Stands in judgement" into Japanese, and google gave me:
判決におけるスタンド
Anyone on here read the language, and can maybe check the translation for me? It's for a tattoo, and I'd hate to have something entirely different than what I wanted to say tattooed on me somewhere.

I have a friend that is Japanese. I can ask him to look at this thread.

I've never understood tattooing a language you don't speak/read/write onto yourself, but hey good luck!

His response:
The Japanese translation seems odd and many of Japanese will laugh about this or even can't understand what this means...
Not exactly sure what "Stands in judgement" means, but I guess you can say "判決に立ち向う"

I'm Japanese as well as being an ex-translator, but I don't understand what "Stands in Judgement" means... Couldn't even get a straight definition through googling on the intrawebz. Need a bit more context.
Just FYI, "Keisuke" translated it as "Face the verdict/judgement"
