Just called the Lafayette store and talked with Jen.... Asked about the discount, and it appears that since Tom and Jason are no longer there, the discount/sponsorship/hook-up is no longer valid. I didn't bother doublechecking with the Broomfield store.

Does anybody know if the CSC has a discount with any autoparts store currently?

There's a new carquest off Havana and Yale. Pretty close to the BMW bike shop. Maybe we can get in that one. ;)

:wtf: I checked with Mary Lynn (the manager at CQ in Lafayette) a few weeks ago, and asked about the sponsorship. She said it was still in effect.

I called the Broomfield store (also a few weeks ago) and left a message, but haven't heard back. :|

I just spoke with Mary Lynn again and confirmed that they will be continuing the sponsorship. 8)

Barn, when Jen said she wasn't sure and offered to let you speak to the manager, you should have taken her up on it. ;)

I just called the Broomfield store and spoke to Brandon, the new manager. He wasn't aware of the previous sponsorship offer, but once I explained it to him, he agreed to uphold it. :yay:

Don't forget to identify yourself as a CSC member in order to obtain the discount!!! :D

Works for me. And yeah... Maybe I could have talked with M.L. when she offered, but Jen's always been real helpful and when she said that she didn't think it was still "on", I just respected that.

I didn't want her to think that I felt it necessary to go over her head, and make sure. I was just gonna double-check here anyway. =)

EDIT: Oh, and I am happy to hear this, by the way! :yes:

Things came into question recently due to a restructuring of CQ's marketing strategy. Mary Lynn told me today that there hasn't been an employee meeting since that decision was made, which explains why Jen didn't know.
