so i have no problem keeping the bodywork and everything nice and shiny, but i always seem to have yukky looking wheels. with all the road junk, brake dust, ect, they are always a pain to clean. what do you use to clean your wheels? :puppy:

I've used simple green, purple power, or orange clean. Basically a bio-degradable degreaser.

Simple Green. Wax your wheels and it will make it easier to keep them clean.

I like to use 409 on the wheels and Armor-All on the tires. It makes them really shiny and pretty!

Serious about the 409. I'll use it or Simple Green, depending on what I have on hand. I spray it onto a rag and wipe them down.

Kerosene gets all of the grease and grime off your bike. You can get it at any hardware store. It smells, but it cleans the tough grease really well.

Maybe it's your lube?
Try chain cleaner and lubricant that flicks less chit on your rim.

Simple green here and on occasions ive used brake cleaner for some bad grime the simple green misses. Not often anymore as i use Motorworx chain cleaner and that does wonders

WD-40. Don't have to grab anything else while I'm cleaning the chain. :D

Sometimes I use my own "cleaner". Makes the tires nice and sticky even when they are cold too.

S100 or WD 40 if they are real bad, then wax them

Simple green is awesome, but it's expensive. I've found that any orange cleaner (especially dollar store stuff) is awesome. I started buying it in the big refill jugs.
