Post some pics of your track bike paint schemes:

I'll start, here's my possible scheme's:

http://i287.photobucket.com/albums/ll133/ramkumar25/2008%20R6%20SE/TrackbikeScheme-whitetankcopy.jpg

I like the White/Orange coz I'm a Vols fan and also I have a white tank for track only.

Here's my previous 08 R6 sold as track bike (rattle can paint by me):

I've always kept my scheme pretty simple:

I'm a big fan of the digital camo paint schemes. There's someone who's got it in red, white, and black which I think looks pretty sick.

yup...grubb's old bike IIRC

here's the best pic of the gixxerI have at work...multiple colors are a PITA...next time it will be single color + wrap

Agree with the single paint scheme. Next time I will do it a little different.

I'm a fan of solids for ease of identification and sponsor logos:

I didn't find multiple colors to be too hard to deal with.

Multiple colors and designs are great, until you crash and have to repaint  Then it tends to become more costly than it's worth, imo.
Kept mine simple... zzzzzzz

I didn't even bother with new paint, the plastics are essentially the same bass boat metal flake as when I bought em from Hoopty.

a design like galster's makes it easy to cover up imperfections/crash damage...if I find the time, I want to paint/wrap the green/white sections of mine black...paint chips way too easily, especially rattle can

I am still working on my new paint for new season but I am keeping it simple / similar to last season. My off (a high-ish side) scraped my lower, upper AND tail a bit and I really wasn't in the mood to repaint all the pieces after the crash and I can't even imagine touching up a seriously intricate design.

If you REALLY want to get some inspiration, I have this thread on WERA bookmarked. 175+ posts talking about favorite paint schemes.

Ya know what, I <heart> boobies too. Not a fan of the design, but boobies are always welcome.

Had some friend's kids paint my ZX-7R track fairings to honor my friend's daughter who had leukemia (she painted too!). In case any one cares, she is fully recovered and is living a wonderful life. :)

Hmm I'm curious what I could paint my bike once I get it. Maybe something involving the air force cause that's where I'm going soon. So maybe a royal blue and white or grey. I think digital camo would look totallly sweet like previously said

+1

You want to have the numbers on both sides of the tail section.
