Hey,

I just moved to Denver in November from Chicago and wanted to see if anyone could make suggestions as to a good shop in the Denver area. I have kicked my Gsx-r600 up to 14000 miles and am in sure need of a valve adjustment. I normally do this stuff myself but don’t have a garage or my tools out at this time so figure I would just send her in. Just wanted to see if anyone had any good suggestions for places with fair prices and more importantly good work!

Thanks!

AJ

I don't think 303 does valve adjustments.

Go with TFOG. They give you a CSC discount and have been long term members of this board. They are a local shop located in Golden (near Denver West).

Hey, are they do'n a picnic/get together again this year? I talked to them (I think it was Mike) at the one last year and he gave me a really good sounding price to get a valve job, and now the bike is way past needing one

^^ Yes, April 30th - details haven't been worked out yet but that's the date.

Also, regarding the valve work. They did the valves on my Speed Triple and it ran better then the day I picked it up from the dealership. Mike knows his stuff and makes sure that it's done right.

Mike's a perfectionist. I remember he was kinda ticked at Yamaha for for allowing such a wide range for my Yamaha's valves to be "in spec". Technically, when I brought it to him, all the valves where still "in spec", but he made them all identical.
