Anyone have a small horse trailer we could borrow this Saturday?

I need to transport 2 sheep and don't have the means to do so myself.

Thanks in advance!

Am up in Severance with a 22ft gooseneck stock. Would love to help but probably not practical. You're down around Denver?

Yes. But we are having them processed up in Hudson with a friend. How much does your trailer weigh? Gotta make sure the truck can tow it...

probably 5-6000lbs empty. If a truck has a gooseneck hitch then it's an easy pull. But you'd go broke driving around trying to pickup and drop off way up here by Fort Collins.

Vellos had a buddy with horses down around Denver area. Am forgetting the guys name right now.... Maybe he knows of a trailer for use closer to you?

ahhh thats why you put them in the vehicle...

and seriously the roof method works well, I've seen the car and roof method in person in Africa for all sorts of animals. The legs are bound and you toss them on the roof, you got a truck so you toss them in the truck...they can not move and will lay there just fine.

You could always ride the sheep!!! It looks like a hoot.
