I'm posting this as a reminder, since it's the beginning of the season and some people have apparently forgotten these rules. We will be enforcing this, so consider yourself warned.

Section 11 - PIT REGULATIONS

A. Pit area speed limit:
1. 5 MPH MAXIMUM! This includes race bikes and pit vehicles (pit bikes, bicycles, etc.). Fines and/or penalties may be assessed, or MRA Officials will impound equipment.
2. All vehicles must be operated in a safe and controlled manner.
3. The MRA reserves the right to impound any vehicle operated in an unsafe manner and will not return the vehicle until the end of the race day.

B. Pets are discouraged, but are permitted on a leash no longer than 7 feet. No snakes or reptiles allowed. MRA officials reserve the right to remove vicious or uncontrolled pets at the owner's expense.

C. All minors (under 16 years of age) must be under strict adult supervision at all times when in the Pit area, and are not allowed on wheels of any kind, unless they are participants in the race event.

D. No use of intoxicants or drugs which could affect the mental or physical abilities may be used in the Pit area during the race event. Violators will be escorted out of the Pit area and pit pass will be revoked. Racers are subject to MRA alcohol and drug policies. MRA policy on this includes a fine up to $500 and a one year suspension.

E. All persons are required to sign a release waiver before they will be allowed into the Pit area or areas.

The race event "ends" each day when the last checkered flag happens. On Saturday, this at the conclusion OF THE MOTARD RACES. On Sunday, this is the end of Amateur GTO. The end of the event for you is not when you are done racing for the day, it is after the last race of the day.
