That is cool! It's weird but it looks like there is a little boat thing that follows around at the end of the tube. It must house the pump.

It's like having a car that's tied to your house. Pointless. But nonetheless, that's pretty damn cool technology!

Or if they could make the suction pumps small enough, suck from the pack up the hose and redirect it out the nozzles at his shoulders. You are thinking pressure pumps at the other end of the hose?

From: http://jetlev.com/Pages/tech.html

Engine: 4-stroke cycle marine engine
Engine HP (approx.): 200 HP at 6,200 RPM

Quite the pump motor.

Boat length: 127 inches (323 cm)
Boat beam: 48 inches (121 cm)
Boat height with hatches closed: 27 inches (11 cm)

Boat weight (dry): 649 lbs (295 kg)

That's 650 pounds you don't have to lift.

Yeah they tried to hide the boat thing in the video, but you can see it really quickly in one of the shots. Still a cool idea.

Be so much cooler with suction pumps and just the suction tube behind you. Keep going up until your tube loses suction, then you get to free fall.

The video was... :gay:

The product looks like a very expensive alternative to jet skiing, but personally I'd get bored with it due to the limitations. Hauling around the little thing would get annoying.

I think it would be a kick in the pants...
