View Full Version : Yay! I have my Ducati after 31 years!

I have been riding bikes since the mid 1970's. I remember the first time I saw a Ducati. A magnificent machine with a full race style fairing in the day when such things were surely not common. I knew I would want one.

Well, today I bought her. A beautiful red 1198 SP. I couldn't be happier.

Photos tomorrow. :)

Hey Sarah, I think an Italian ride would be cool. Maybe we can plan it for May or June, whatever works for everybody. For Cycle Monkey's sake, the rule will be you have to RIDE Italian or BE Italian lol. Lunch will of course be at a good Italian ristorante.

I've never ridden with the Eurotrash club although I've seen the info on the Mad Moto website.

How about being married to a nice Italian girl and riding a twin? Too much of a stretch?

Maybe if she's 2-up with you that day, then we'll count it. ;)

It will be done grass hoppah.

Just need to figure out the best date for such a thing. I also want to find a good (i.e. high quality food) Italian restaurant with a location that will work with a good canyon ride. North, south, doesn't matter to me. Olive Garden doesn't count. ;)
