That's right! Grand Prix is bringing back Bike Nights to Hooters Lakewood! Just like last year, they will have drink specials, motorcycle only parking and a helmet give away (Sully's entry will be taken out ;) )

It's a bummer there aren't better places to have a bike night. Hooters has the shittiest food, and wants the bikers there to hang out... Places like BWW (near 104th & grant) and Boston's don't want us around, but have food worth eating.

I showed up with my son. At one point he asked (complete with air-quotes), "So, dad, what's up with the 'Hooters Girls?'" He's 11. I laughed. He did love all the bikes, though, as did I.

Had a hell of a time getting there, though. Friggin' signal fuse blew out in traffic (which was terrible on Santa Fe), so we had to find an automotive shop before we got there. Then got lost on the way home trying to get on Santa Fe southbound...but nice weather and comfy temps made the little adventure all good.

Look forward to future bike nights. =)
